Diego is the owner of KO Zone, a Miami based facility opened in 2007, teaching students a number of disciplines including: Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, boxing, kickboxing, mixed martial arts and Muay Thai. The former amateur and professional fighter has a black belt in Taekwondo and is a licensed American Fitness Professionals and Associates certified personal trainer as well as an International Sports Sciences Association Strength and Conditioning Specialist. In addition to teaching combat fitness, he’s also a powerlifting and Crossfit instructor. Because of his Military background, Diego started teaching tactical shooting to the Miami and Hialeah police departments as a member of Real World Tactical, a company that teaches tactical shooting to different law enforcement and federal agencies around the country.
